Kampene Gold Project

DR Congo ♦ Kampene Gold Project ♦ Exploration or start Mining now ♦ Joint Venture

Presented by AfricanCR Ltd (ACN 162 704 047) and LEAD Africa Invest the mandate for the Vendor.

Vendor looking for a JV partner to either fund a small-scale mining operation exploiting the easy alluvials on the license whilst exploring for the deeper gold or go for large-scale exploration option.

Kampene is Fully Licensed and Ready to begin Mining in a Gold Concession located in the heart of the “Twangiza – Namoya gold belt”, a 210 km of strip where most of the Congo’s gold exists.

The project license is 27 sqkm located in the territory of Pangi in Maniema province.

  • The concession area has alluvial/elluvial gold that is being exploited using basic techniques.
  • The concession is likely to have primary gold mineralisation however no detailed exploration has been done. Canadian junior La Quinta originally owned the concession in 2007 and commissioned a report to review the property geology and completed a soil geochemical survey that highlighted four areas of interest within the concession. In 2009 La Quinta abandoned the concession and several others due to the GFC and failure to raise monies for detailed exploration.
  • The La Quinta report covering the Kampene concession has been located and is available.
  • Vector Resources (ASX:VEC) have concessions in the immediate area and have recently delineated a resource of 400koz. There are several multi-million-ounce resources defined along the Namoya belt, notably by Banro Corporation who have operating mines and are actively exploring in the region.

The Kampene vendor is trying to raise money to start a small-scale mining operation (alluvial-elluvial 1,800 ounce per month) plus further exploration operations for determining a large-scale resource (primary host rock).

A vendor summary report is available.

The property is in a hot location and has extensive gold mineralisation throughout.
