Located in the Orientale Province of the DR Congo.

BN Mining Permit areas (+2000 km2) cover a portion of the Archaean to Proterozoic Isiro Greenstone Belt, which relate to the Kilo Moto Greenstone Belt. The latter belt contains two world class gold deposits, Kilo and Moto, some 200km to the east. Approximately 120km to the east is the recently declared 2.3Moz deposit by Amani Gold (ASX listed – ANL). Gold mineralisation at Kilo and Moto is associated with epigenetic mesothermal style mineralisation, consistent with the majority of Archaean and Proterozoic greenstone terranes worldwide, including the Birimian rocks of West Africa, the Yilgarn Block of Western Australia, numerous belts in Zimbabwe, the Lake Victoria region of Tanzania and the Atibiti Belt in Canada.

The license areas are remote and have not been systematically explored since 1963. The geology of the area is poorly understood and has not been mapped in any detail. The area has never been topographically mapped.

Gold mineralisation is demonstrably present at the artisanal workings present in the Gada area of the Isiro Greenstone Belt, while overall tenor of gold mineralisation is high in the known workings and multiple zones do exist within the license areas.

The style of mineralisation is consistent with structurally controlled epigenetic mesothermal mineralisation found to the East of the permits and elsewhere in the world as previous mentioned. The license areas are considered highly prospective for a world class gold reserve find.
